Cleansing with Supplements

Nutritional fibers, enzymes, motility of the stomach and herbs are the primary way cleansing the bowel, if one of which is affected then proper supplements must be taken. Nowadays cleansing supplements are available in tablet, powder and liquid forms which are easy to take. They could be taken once or twice a day depending on the situation. They are given in to address different problems such as weight gains, allergies, parasites and circulation. Basically, cleansing could be classified in two, they could be dietary cleanse or cleanses that are taken with supplements.

Dietary cleanses requires dietary adjustments but are very gentle in nature. Cleanses that requires supplements does not require too much adjustment in the diet. Some of the most commonly used supplements are Fibers, herbs, Enzymes and juice supplements.

Enzymes are also known as biological catalyst, they breakdown foods and minerals in a form that can be used by the body. They play a very important role in digestion. Because they are made up of proteins, they manifest some similar characteristics with them. Just like proteins they are sensitive to heat and could easily break in the process of cooking. Enzymes are found in the saliva, in the stomach and the small intestines. They break down food into simplest form that can be used by the body. Enzymes as supplements are mostly used by people with chronic pain, and arthritis as they breakdown some of the build up toxins that add up to the inflammatory process.

Fibers are majorly found in green leafy vegetables. They are the indigestible part of the leaf which is collectively known as cellulose. Since these products are indigestible, they act as broom in sweeping toxins and by products in the body. They are also found in fruits such as lemons and mangoes.

Juice supplements are important in removing toxins in the body, if properly processed they can give vital minerals, enzymes, and vitamins. However, pasteurization and canning process could increase acidity and decrease the nutritional content of the juice.

Herbs are usually taken in for there nutrients and immune system but they are also used in cleansing. Garlic’s are used for killing parasites however they could also be very acidic and could cause irritation once taken in with an empty stomach. Milk Thistle is known for its cleaning effect on the liver. Cinnamon and peppermint are helpful in metabolism. These are effective when taken with the right amount of food and rest.
