Weight Loss: Your Liver and Your Scale

Still trying to lose those extra pounds? For many, it’s a dreaded chore… But a little known fact about weight loss might be the missing link. It has to do with how your body works and when you understand it, you’ll see that it makes a lot of sense. Here it is: Your liver is your main detoxification organ and your main fat burning organ. Let me tell you why that’s important.
Most people regularly consume a lot of unnatural chemicals, which are essentially toxic to the body. Small amounts of pesticides and herbicides are consumed with each non-organic meal, and your liver needs to detoxify these substances. Then, thousands of different chemicals present in processed foods, and your liver also needs to work to detoxify these chemicals. In addition, most people apply large amounts of chemicals directly to our skin with sunscreens, lotions, and cosmetics – the majority of which is absorbed directly into the body. The point is: When you have conditions where you liver is overworked with detoxification, your liver will have little time or energy for fat burning.
So, if your prime fat burning organ is overworked with its “other” job of detoxification, where does that leave your weight loss efforts? For too many: high, dry, and with a few pounds around the middle. Fortunately, you can get your liver back on your side.
By eating a natural organic diet, adopting natural body care, and doing a body cleanse, with a liver cleanse and a colon cleanse, you can eliminate the stores of toxic waste that the average person carries – and reduce your incoming chemical load. Believe it or not, this combination can make weight loss fast and easy. Essentially, by removing much of your toxic load, your liver will need to devote less energy to detoxification, and it can make more time to burn fat.
Many people have never heard of cleansing the body, but it’s just cleaning the inside of your body. Consider this, if you didn’t clean your home in thirty years, how would it look? Filthy might be your word choice and it certainly would be accurate! Our bodies are similar in that they need for more than routine cleaning, because while we do have detoxification organs, they often need extra help – especially with today’s common – yet highly chemical – diet and lifestyle habits.
