Do People Really Care About the Size of Your Laptop?

The question in mobile computing has become, “Does size and weight really matter or is it more important to have an all powerful computer that allows you to fit every piece of software and save as many data files as possible on your computing device?” Another question may be whether the smaller dimensions are more useful or if the light-weight portability is the focal issue. I think the availability of different types of portable computers in today’s day and age lets us genuinely personalize our computers into something that works for us today and doesn’t always have to be standard for us all.

The announcement of the new macbookair by Apple has really given us a selection with the size and weight and what kind of laptop we take around with us when traveling. At less than 3 pounds and thinner than a picture frame, we don’t have to get a workout every time we go on a trip. It has a 13 inch display and a standard-size keyboard. Tell me where I can get it today! This is the very quality I have been looking for.

When I first saw the advert for the MacBook Air with a slim, easy to carry computer coming out of that envelope, I was simply stunned. Now, that’s the choice I’ve been seeking for so long. Now it doesn’t have to be a workout to take my laptop with me any longer! No extra bag that can weigh likely as much as the portable computer, no more sweating, no longer taking up more room than my suitcase! What a relief!

The frequently asked question of whether size really matters is in front of us now and my answer, when it comes to a miniature laptop is a booming, “yes, Yes, YES!” Size does matter as well as weight. For me and my laptop smaller is certainly better.
